Hans Moench is a pioneer in the commercial cleaning industry.
He has over 40 years of experience in product invention, design and manufacturing of high-quality
commercial floor cleaning equipment and tools. The cleaning equipment Hans has invented is
currently being sold and used in over 120 countries.
In the 1970’s Hans started his first company EWU Inc. together with his business partner in
Switzerland. Hans focused on leading the development of new commercial floor cleaning
equipment. EWU offered its customers a large selection of over 100 in-house disserted
commercial floor cleaning tools. EWU focused on selling its products to OEM/private label
customers. EWU supplied the entire European, Asian, South American, and African markets with
its products.
In the 1980’s the company expanded and opened a branch in New Jersey, USA. Hans functioned
as the CEO of EWU international Inc. USA branch. Hans was responsible for R&D, marketing and
production of commercial sanitary maintenance and janitorial floor cleaning products.
After successfully owning and running EWU for over 23 years, Hans and his business partner sold
the company to Rubbermaid in 1995. Today many of the products Hans invented are still being
sold by Rubbermaid worldwide.
In the early 2000’s Hans started on his next adventure by creating AVET-USA Inc. Hans developed
a new floor mopping system, utilizing microfibre technology along with a revolutionary new tool
and holder called the speed mop.
In 2004 Johnson Diversey (Johnson Wax) recognized the innovation. Johnson Diversity negotiated
a global deal with AVET-USA to sell this cleaning system exclusively via private label worldwide.
Currently, AVET-USA continues to sell its speed mop microfiber floor cleaning system to many
OEM customers worldwide.
In 2020 Hans founded CCTI-USA, Inc. with his business partner Brad Lucas. At CCTI-USA
Hans is putting his decades of experience to good use by leading the development and
manufacture of robotic commercial cleaning tools.
